Flatseamer or Flatlock Stitching
The Flatlock Stitch is characterized by the absence of layers folding to the inside. For this reason the pattern will not present any seam allowance: the cut edges of fabric are approached one next to the other joined flat in a single layer with thread.
This stitching technique is mostly used in Sportswear/Activewear, Underwear and Childwears because it minimizes the fabric bulk and assure comfort.
